When the angels went away from them
into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us go over to Bethlehem and
see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us. So
they went with haste and [by searching] found Mary and Joseph, and the Baby
lying in a manger. - Luke 2:15-16
After being
told good news by angels, the shepherds could have sat back and talked about
what they had seen and experienced while watching their flocks that night.
Instead, they went WITH HASTE.
How often do
we sit and think a little more, marvelling, pondering, examining what we should
do, ignoring the inner urging to GO. We all have stories of God’s wonderful
timing and provision when we listen to that little inner voice that says “GO”.
The right person met at the right time, the chance to make right, or to help
someone, or be helped ourselves.
Perhaps we
should dare to GO a little more? That we might find!
You will
seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. – Jer 29:13
